About

I am a Motivational speaker, Author and Self-Care Coach.

For many years, my voice was silenced by the cruelty and actions of men who sought to strip me of my power and diminish my worth. Their actions left me feeling unheard, unseen, and burdened by hidden pains that punctuated every bad decision I made thereafter.   It wasn’t until I gave voice to my pain that I began to release the shame I had carried for years.  Speaking my truth shattered the chains of shame that once held me hostage to a false identity of who I thought I was.  I am so much more, and then some. Now, I am committed to helping others find their voice and step into who they were created to be.   This journey led me to become a certified Self-Care Coach. I wanted to be fully equipped to advocate for the importance of a holistic approach to self-development – mind, body and soul.  Self-care is not selfish—it’s foundational. It’s the bridge to reclaiming your power, embracing your humanity, and unlocking the potential within. My goal is to empower others to invest in themselves and adopt practices that create lasting change.

As an Author.  The Restored Soul was written to expand my reach and impact garnered from my Off Broadway Play, The Wounded Soul, which captivated audiences for over two seasons. This book offers an intimate, interior view my struggles, resilience, and quest for restoration.  Writing is more than storytelling—it’s liberation. Through my words, I invite readers to embrace their own journeys of healing and self-discovery, proving that restoration is not a destination but a continuous, empowering process.  I shared with my story so my audience can understand that God is a restorer.  My life is testimony to overcoming many obstacles, and I stand as an antithesis of what my life is should have looked like.

My story continues,  it doesn’t conclude. Life is not an ‘ED” it about “ING” – it’s not about being “healed” but continually healing. It’s an ongoing process.

As a Speaker.  One pivotal moment in my healing process came through reading Iyanla Vanzant’s book, One Day My Soul Just Opened Up: 40 Days and 40 Nights Toward Spiritual Strength and Personal Growth. This book was a mirror for me, revealing my shortcomings, excuses and areas for growth.  It also reflected the truths I needed to confront.

My journey came full circle when I was invited to be an opening speaker at a major conference in Atlanta, where Iyanla Vanzant herself was the keynote speaker. Standing before an audience of 5,000 women, I shared my testimony of resilience. It was a defining moment, solidifying my commitment to encouraging others.

Since that day, I have continued to dedicate myself to empowering women.  I speak with women’s empowerment groups, domestic violence support networks, and any audience seeking to break free from the chains of victimhood. My journey has afforded me countless media platforms, where I share my message of hope, strength, and transformation.

I made a promise: every platform I am given will be used to inspire and empower others. My mission is clear—to remind women that healing is possible, restoration is ongoing, and the journey from brokenness to wholeness is one worth taking.
